When I was a little girl I always thought that sex was only for marriage anyway, since my parents are pastors of a growing and thriving church and had instilled this belief in me. It was only when I was in my first year at secondary school that I found out that anybody could do it, whether married or not. Then I started to read my Bible on sex and how it is best within marriage. This actually showed me how special sex is, and I decided then and there to remain abstinent until marriage. Other people should do this too, whether Christian or otherwise, since it is the best wedding present you can give to your future husband or wife. I often think just how good my wedding night will be if I wait, and just know that I have made the right decision.
